One of Bend's oldest parks, Pioneer Park has bragging rights to beautiful open lawns, gorgeous old trees and is perched alongside the peaceful Deschutes River. If that wasn’t enough, it also features a covered group picnic area, a formal rose garden and river front woods. Running alongside the river is a section of the Deschutes River Trail, making walkable access to downtown Bend and First Street Rapids Park a breeze.
