Call your two best friends and tell them you’re getting your families together at Phillips Park. Bring a cooler with sandwiches, potato salad (the homemade recipe), and all the trimmings. Oh, and bring your fishing poles, too. Set yourselves up at the shelter, head out for a hike into the Beavercreek Wetlands, and when you get back you can fire up the grill for a great meal together. Early summer mornings are a great time to catch fish, so it’s perfect to bring your child to Phillips to teach them the basics.
