See the Central Valley in its natural state! The park preserves the natural habitat for many rare and endangered plant and animal species. This undeveloped park offers a spot to enjoy a primitive, natural setting. It features a 5-mile walk alongside the San Joaquin River. Fish from the shore or launch your boat into the river. Anglers will find the waters teaming with largemouth bass and catfish. View a variety of wildlife, like the California Tiger Salamander and the vernal pool fairy shrimp! Spring visits are highly recommended for the explosion of wildflowers.
