Situated on a Lake Erie peninsula, East Harbor invites exploration with its unique natural features. Located on the fringe of Ohio’s prairie marsh zone, these wetlands are remnants of the Great Black Swamp, which stretched 120 miles long and 30 to 40 miles wide. The park is a gem for nature enthusiasts, offering scenic wetlands views, a swimming beach, and lakeside picnic areas teeming with waterfowl, shorebirds, and other wildlife. East Harbor offers camping, boating, hiking, and fishing, creating an ideal setting for outdoor adventures.
