The most well-known park in Bend and historic site to original home sites, Drake Park is a community gathering place that hosts many large events throughout the spring, summer and fall. Mature trees, acres of lawn, paved trails in the park and along the river, picnic tables, a boardwalk and viewing plaza invite visitors to a most enjoyable experience. The park features a performance stage and a rock beach at the south end of the park, serving as a popular take out spot for river floaters. This beach is also serviced by the Ride the River shuttle during summer months. A footbridge conveniently connects users across the river to Pageant and Harmon parks.
