Donna May Campbell Preserve is located in northern Darke County, just off US-127 in Beamsville. It was opened in 2012, and a small parking lot allows access to this 5-acre riparian habitat along the State Scenic Stillwater River.

As you enjoy the short footpath through this park, you will encounter silver maple, box elder, and American sycamore trees, all providing an island of habitat for wildlife species that call river banks home. Some of this wildlife includes beaver, songbirds, foxes, a variety of reptiles and amphibians, muskrats, and many other species. Be sure to watch for beaver chews and trees downed due to beaver activity.
