For nearly 40 years, Carolyn Rosas Park has been a staple in the Rowland Heights Community. Formally called Farjado County Park, the Board of Supervisors rededicated the facility on April 24, 1987 in honor of Ms. Carolyn Rosas, a community leader and descendant of the Rowland Heights founding family. For many decades, Carolyn Rosas Park has collaborated with many community organizations to bring unique recreational activities to Rowland Heights residents. Some of their most popular programs include Hula, Tai Chi and wrestling.
