A gentle ramble through 6.6 acres of beech trees and rolling terrain leads from Edgartown–Vineyard Haven Road to the head of the ravine overlooking Lagoon Pond. From there it is 126 steps down to the Lagoon on aluminum stairs and a wooden boardwalk (and back up again). Park on the west side of Edgartown–Vineyard Haven Road, just south of Carroll's Road and north of MV Campground.
