Armistice Information
In 1926 with the coming of the railway, a building boom started in Armistice. An elevator, a post office, a store, and a community hall were built very quickly. The boom faded and the last structure, the community hall was sold and made into a residence. The Armistice area provided water to the railroad with its water tower and had a spur line across the Dog Rump Creek to the east which provided much of the gravel for railroad construction.
Today the Armistice area is part of the County of St Paul # 19 which in 2021 had a population of 6036.
