The Harrington Access Area is increasingly popular as a take-out for rafters. River currents allow easy landing at the beach, and the parking area is relatively close to the take-out. The area is popular for fishing as well. Informal picnicking occurs in the area. Bicycle and equestrian/hiking trails are easily accessible from the parking lot.
