169 acres of breathtaking natural beauty. From the awe-inspiring and calming crash of Cedar Cliff Falls to the amazing geological structures and wildlife along more than eight miles of hiking trails, to the pre-1825 restored log house – you’ll marvel at what’s packed into Indian Mound Reserve. Essentially, it’s three parks in one – Peterson Park on the west end, Williamson Mound at the north point, and Cedar Cliff Falls on the east side, just outside Cedarville. Each is a unique experience, and all are connected by a robust network of hiking trails. Stand at the edge of the overlook at Cedar Cliff Falls and you’ll see what we mean. It’s hard to think about work overload, stacks of bills, car repairs, or cranky people when you’re watching, hearing, and absorbing the power of the falls.

More Information
Through your support, we’ve built, restored, and rejuvenated Indian Mound Reserve to bring you family and life experiences in Greene County’s beautiful outdoors.
Trails were cleared and restored, and a new bridge was built between Peterson Park and Williamson Mound to connect more than eight miles of trails throughout the Reserve. We built an amazing overlook at Cedar Cliff Falls, where you and your family can better experience the falls’ power. And the restored 1800s log house will be the home of educational programs. Rehabbed the existing Peterson bridge and gazebo and added new covered picnic tables.
Indian Mound Reserve is perfect for weddings, family celebrations, photo shoots, team building or just a picnic stop.
Cliff jumping is a violation of park rules and can result in a ticket.
