Los Flores Ranch Park is the first of its kind regional open space park in the Santa Maria Valley. At 1,778 acres (nearly 2.8 square miles), the property lies about eight miles south of Santa Maria in the Solomon Hills. The park offers the public a rare mix of environmental education, land preservation and recreation, with 16 miles of multi-use hiking/equestrian/mountain biking trails. Los Flores Ranch Park also offers a variety of FREE outdoor programs/events such as guided nature walks, Moonlight Hikes, Star Gazing Party's, Moonlight Mountain Bike Rides and much more!

Please note we are open Thursday -Sunday only.

Los Flores Ranch Park Hours of Operation

Pacific Standard Time (Fall/Winter schedule): Thursday through Sunday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Last entry at 4:00pm.

Daylight Savings Time (Spring/Summer schedule): Thursday through Sunday from 8:00am to 7:00pm. Last entry at 6:00pm.

Poor weather can close trails and/or Los Flores Ranch Park without notice.

Equestrian Access and Contact information

Equestrians will access the ranch corral, off of Hwy 101 (take 101 southbound from Santa Maria to exit 161, left under the bridge/fwy). Wet weather will close access for equestrians. All equestrians must register and check-in when visiting the ranch. Call the Visitors Center for more information 805-938-7618.

User Access Fees

City of Santa Maria Residents and business owners access the park for FREE.

Daily access fee is $3.75 for adults (18-54);  65 and up are FREE;  youth 17 years and under are FREE.  An annual pass good for one year from purchase that will allow access for up to 6 guests at one time, is $52.00.

*Active Military and Veterans FREE

City of Santa Maria residents and owners of businesses located within the City of Santa Maria area entitled to free access at the park. Address verification will be required upon registration at the park's visitor center. All non-City of Santa Maria residents holding a current access card will be allowed free access for one year from the date the card was originally issued.
